(Stamile, P.) TET 6314-B [(Virgil Earp x Sue Brown) X Tetra
Peppermint Delight] 26” EERe. emo. fr. SEv. 6.25” x 3.25” x 2.25”. 4-way
branching. 28-30 buds.
This
black violet eyed and edged sibling to WALTER KENNEDY makes up part of the
triumvirate of beautiful bloom that begins our season. SHAMROCK DEW, FANCY LACE
and JOHN HAWKINS are often beginning
to bloom in early to mid March – a full eight weeks before peak bloom in
Florida. These are the flowers that put a smile on my face.
Low arching forest green foliage is noteworthy
along with the double eye of violet black and purple, the double edge of violet
black and purple and the bright spring green throat. Fertile both ways. A top early daylily, with the deepest black
color of any we grow. Start your
season with JOHN HAWKINS.
